Recientemente, se ha generado mucha polémica entorno a las condiciones de vida de los animales en las granjas para la producción de alimentos. No os dejéis engañar, si no hay nada que ocultar, la carne siempre lleva un número de identificación para garantizar la trazabilidad del producto. Este aspecto es uno de los pilares de PETKIS, por ello, estamos coordinados con nuestros proveedores, que cuidan a los animales con mimo y detalle. Reflejándose en la calidad del producto final. En PETKIS se ofrecen productos de tres especies principalmente: ternera, cordero y potro.
Calidad de producto al detalle y denominación de origen.
1) TERNERA, DO Navarra.
– Terneras de razas mejoradas durante años mediante el cruce con los individuos de raza más pura, optimización de la alimentación y esfuerzo y dedicación de los ganaderos navarros.
– Alimentación: Hasta los 4 meses de edad se alimenta de leche materna, y hasta los 6/7 meses se combina leche materna con piensos especiales. A partir de entonces se alimenta sólo de forraje y piensos especiales.
– Viven en libertad periódica e instalaciones específicas para vacuno.
– Sacrificio: Edad de 10-12 meses.
– Calidad: La calificación mínima es U2 y alcanzando algunos lotes la calificación máxima a nivel mundial E2 y S2 ( Anexo1 BOE-A-2008-4207)
– Si deseas alimentar a tu perro o gato con carne de ternera de la mejor calidad, puedes consultar nuestros productos de ternera.
2) CORDERO, DO Navarra.
– Corderos procedentes de ovejas alimentadas con los mejores pastos. Cabe destacar que el cordero lechal ha sido galardonado con el premio Innova, por su innovación genética que ha permitido obtener una carne con menor cantidad de grasa.
– Alimentación: leche materna como mínimo 45 días desde al nacimiento. En la etapa de cebo la alimentación estará constituida por paja blanca de cereal y concentrado elaborado a base de cereales, leguminosas, vitaminas y minerales.
– Viven en libertad periódica e instalaciones específicas para ovino. Por normativa del gobierno de Navarra estos animales disfrutan de m2 necesarios para evitar hacinamiento y estrés.
– Calidad: Todos los corderos son identificados en su nacimiento con un crotal autorizado por la legislación vigente, para asegurar la trazabilidad del producto.
– Si deseas ofrecer a tu perro o gato con carne de cordero de la mejor calidad, puedes consultar nuestros productos recomendados de cordero.
3) POTRO, potro de origen.
– Potros de las razas autóctonas de Navarra; Burguete y Jaca, procedentes de explotaciones situadas en plena naturaleza en el norte de Navarra, que cumplen escrupulosamente con la legislación vigente.
– Alimentación: 100% natural basada en avena, cebada, maíz y forraje libre de cualquier tipo de aditivo industrial.
– La mayor parte del año, los potros viven en contacto con el medio natural, cuando deben ser transportados, se realiza en vehículos especialmente acondicionados para garantizar un mejor manejo y cuidado de los animales.
– Potro lechal de una edad inferior a 12 meses.
– Una meticulosa selección de las mejores canales, y la escrupulosa higiene en el despiece garantizan la máxima calidad.
